Terrestrial television channels are transmitted via UHF
(Ultra High Frequency) frequencies between 470 and 854 MHz. These frequencies
have been divided into 8MHz bandwidths (the amount required to transmit one
analogue television channel) and numbered from 21 to 68.
In many parts of the UK TV channels are transmitted in groups to stop
interference with other transmitters, these groups are:
